Samantha Markle has lashed out at her half-sister Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and called her a hypocrite after the new mother admitted she was struggling because no one asked her if she was doing okay.
Meghan appeared in an emotional interview in an ITV documentary in which she said: “Not many people have asked if I’m okay.”
While Meghan’s fans quickly rushed to her aid on social media, her remarks were met with sharp scrutiny by her half-sister Samantha who said she couldn’t believe that Meghan would dare to say something like that.
As Samantha expressed, the “millionaire” shouldn’t complain about anything because she didn’t even bother to ask her father how he was doing after suffering from heart attacks.
“I thought: ‘Wow, did you ever ask dad if he was okay during two heart attacks?’” the 54-year-old said in an interview with Inside Edition.
In addition, Samantha also slammed the Duchess for complaining about all the negative attention she gets from the media.
“She knew exactly what she was doing, so, hey you got what you wanted,” the half-sister claimed.
“I think it is really ludicrous that someone who is escorted around the world by millions of dollars worth of security on private jets as a millionaire could ever complain about anything.”
“Telling the truth is not being mean,” Samantha added, responding to people who think she’s being mean to her half-sister.
Despite the obvious ranting, Samantha also had something nice to say about Meghan and her baby, Archie.
“He is adorable. He looks like Harry,” she expressed, claiming that one of her first times to see the baby was in the documentary.
