Ryan Reynolds shared the picture of his third child with Blake Lively after secretly welcoming the baby two months ago.
The 42-year-old actor posted a sweet snap with his wife Blake along with a message about climate control in his native Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
He also revealed the gender of his baby in the caption, Ryan wrote: ”I love B.C. [Canadian flag emoji] I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground I grew up in. On Oct. 21, the candidate you vote for will SHAPE CLIMATE POLICY.”
”I’m proud of the climate progress made the last 4 years. Click http://Elections.ca for voting info. #Capilano.”
The face of baby had been blurred out in the photo and a smiley face drawn over her real face. The couple is also parents to daughters Inez and James. On October 4, PEOPLE website confirmed that Ryan and Blake had welcomed their third child but the sex of the baby is unknown as no details were released at the time.
Blake revealed the pregnancy news back in May as she showed off her baby bump at the Detective Pikachu premiere in Hollywood.
She told Allure in 2012: ”I’ve always wanted a big family. Oh, I’d love 30 [children] if I could.”
In 2017, she spoke to PEOPLE about her parenting style, saying: ”I think it’s hard to slap labels on any parents because it’s just so tricky.”
”It’s like every moment you’re figuring out what the heck you’re doing. You think, “Ooh, should I be more strict, or should I be more I don’t know, emotional?” Or whatever it is.”
”If anybody knows how to be a parent, I feel like grandparents really know how to be parents. But parents, you just figure it out as you go. So, I wouldn’t put a label on it.”
Ryan also talked about being a father of girls and told Entertainment Weekly Radio in 2016 ”If I could have nine daughters, I would be thrilled. Really, like I genuinely would be.”
”My brothers and I, there’s four of us, we would destroy the house,” he recalled to EW Radio. “I was eight and I could patch and drywall at eight. We could actually repair an entire hole in the wall in our house within 15 minutes.”
”That’s part of the reason I don’t want boys because I don’t want a Wiffle house. I just want the house to be normal.”
”Having a daughter was a dream come true for me,” the actor told PEOPLE after he and Lively welcomed their first daughter, James. ”I would have made a terrible king.”
