Where Maximus, a Roman general who is loved by the entire kingdom is crowned as the new king as per the orders of the dying king.
This leads Maximus into a struggle where his family gets threatens and he is then dragged into the game of Gladiator where he eventually dies.
Russell looked strong and uptight in the 2000 movie but he looked completely different as he took a break from the shoot and was smoking a cigarette.
In the upcoming movie, he is playing the role of a man who makes the life of a woman miserable after hitting her up on the street in an accident.
He appeared in a fat suit, with a blue shirt one paired with beige colored pants and a belt with brown shoes. His shirt was stained with blood (fake blood we hope).
He was enjoying the company of a few female staffers on the set and appeared very relaxed. Yes, he looked nothing like the man he was in the Gladiator. The upcoming thriller has changed his look and we are hoping it to be something extremely good.
Russell is a great actor without any doubt and we have our hopes high with his upcoming movie too.
Recently in an interview, he revealed that he was offered a part in The Lord of the Rings but he turned it down.
If he hadn’t turned the role down, it would have made him earn a whopping amount of $100 million which he regrets loosing now. Never mind, he already has a well-established name for that matter.
