While the book is still in the works, the first draft is reportedly nearly finished and will be ready for submission later this year.

To pen the memoir, Prince Harry reportedly partnered up with American novelist and journalist J. R. Moehringer.

Though exact details of the book deal were not revealed, sources told The Daily Mail that the prince will likely secure millions in sales on top of a $20 million advance. As the Random House confirmed, Harry will donate profits to charity.

While the young prince clearly feels excited by the opportunity to tell his story, Royal insiders suggested the book deal has sparked “much eye-rolling.”

“I think everyone is just tired of being angry when it comes to those two,” one source told the publication before adding: “They have spent the last 18 months doing everything they promised Her Majesty they wouldn’t do – making a living off their previous lives and status as members of the Royal Family. It’s depressingly predictable, unfortunately.”

Another insider said: “A book by Harry, as written by Meghan.”

As sources have alleged, Harry’s father, Prince Charles, was left “surprised” by the news after allegedly only learning about his son’s upcoming book from the media.

Comments from across the pond, however, aren’t likely to slow Prince Harry down.

“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” he said of his project.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story— the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”
