A successful African-American woman who made her marriage to an upper-class Englishman work has revealed where Meghan Markle went wrong.

Rose Hulse is an entrepreneur and businesswoman who was, like Meghan Markle, in her 30s when she tied the knot with George Hulse, a baronet’s grandson.

As Mrs. Hulse insisted, she was thrilled to see Meghan and Harry get married in 2018 because she was hoping the American actress would “have a voice to reach every person on this planet and that they would listen and over time would incite change and influence policy.”

While Rose long hoped that Meghan, who is of mixed race, “could be a voice for all people of color and help to educate people,” she was saddened to find out that her life in Palace fell apart.

“I was sad for Harry. Sad for Meghan, for the Royal Family and for the British people. Everyone’s hopes and dreams for them came crashing down,” she said, The Daily Mail reported.

According to Rose, the Royal Family proved they weren’t racist when they accepted Meghan into their family even though some believed that everything was happening too fast.

“There may have been some that felt it was too soon and that Harry should take his time, but when he made it clear he was truly in love, his entire family was there to support him and Prince Charles even walked Meghan down the aisle,” she added.

“Not only was she unequivocally supported by people of color, but by so many others as well. You could see this by the love shown from everyone who came out to support her and Harry on their tours of the UK, Commonwealth and South Africa.

“Yes, there may have been naysayers and haters, but there was also a huge amount of love shown towards them. They were so very popular.”

Speaking of the advice she would give to Meghan in the past if she had the chance, Rose said she would advise her “not to take anything personally” and “encourage her to understand the sensitivities around primogeniture, second sons, service and duty and to seriously consider all she would be giving up for love.”

“She would have been the first acknowledged member of the Royal Family with African descent and with that comes great responsibility, followed by anger, jealousy and people trying to push her to fail just to prove that everyone’s ‘concerns’ were correct,” Mrs Hulse, who acknowledged that racism is a global problem and that she had been a victim of racist comments in the past, added.point 472 | 1

“She would have to always be one step ahead and to rise above all the challenges and represent with dignity and prove everyone wrong who doubts that she is not suited for this role and position.”

As Rose went on to recall, she too faced challenges and inappropriate comments from her husband’s friends when she decided to marry into the British upper-class back in 2017.

Instead of getting offended, however, she used the awkward moments as an “opportunity” to acclimate to the British way of life and cross the gaps between the two cultures.

She also recalled the concerns her in-laws voiced in regards to her brown-colored baby as she pointed out that concern and ignorance don’t equal racism.

“The questions asked were, ‘How will they be perceived? How will they be treated? What will people say? How will you protect them from this unfair world we live in?’” Rose recalled.

“Now is that racist or is that someone who is concerned for the wellbeing of a future family member? For someone who has never experienced racism, they may have concerns on how this will affect the young child’s life, and what they could do to protect them.”

Speaking of where Meghan’s life in Palace went wrong, Rose suggested that the Duchess of Sussex wasn’t suited “for any role as a working royal” because she “couldn’t handle the outside pressures and what was expected of her.”

“She’d have had to give up a core part of herself that was proving too difficult. The monarchy has survived more than 1,000 years because they have certain protocols in place to ensure the successful running of the institution. One either steps in line or politely and quietly steps aside,” Mrs. Hulse said.

While she recognized that the monarchy is very powerful, Rose insisted that Meghan has a great platform herself and that she now has to use her “powerful” words wisely to unite people rather than cause a divide.
