Road rage sensation Ronnie Pickering, who shouted at a moped rider in 2015, has got a special blue plaque.
His road rage rant made him an Internet sensation overnight.
Ronnie Pickering, who shouted at a moped rider near his home in Hull in September 2015, was filmed by the moped rider.
Pickering, who was in his red Citroen Picasso, shouts, ‘Do you know who I am?’
Pickering then said to the rider who couldn’t recognize him, ‘I’m Ronnie Pickering.’ Pickering apologized to the moped rider later.

Ronnie said after the incident: “It’s very strange. People will do anything to get hits on the Internet. It’s possible this was a set-up.”
“A lot of people approach me wanting selfies taking with me, but I’m always polite and I always agree.”
“You can’t win. People think, ‘Who does that bloke think he is?’ but if I was rude to them they’d have a go at me for that, too.”
Now, the location has been marked with a blue plaque near The Ship Inn pub in east Hull which reads: ‘Ronnie Pickering. Became an internet sensation near here from his red Citroen Picasso.’
The plaques, which have been erected by a Hull-based company, Drunk Animal Creative Studio, is recognizing living legends from the city.
