The 80-year-old vicar Philip Clements has recently revealed that he is back in an open relationship with his Romanian husband Florin Marin after they had split-up before.
Their story started on a gay dating app where Philip found Florin.
Their love was so intense that Philip Clements ended up selling his current property and settled in a flat worth 100,000 Euros in Bucharest. But they started to develop some issues as they headed forward in their marriage. Mr. Clements moved back to the U.K. soon after.
Mr. Clements spoke to The Sun he shared his heartbroken feelings of separation from Florin.
He said it was sort of a depressive breakdown because he missed him.
He also said these things can’t be explained scientifically and added it was like he lost a leg.
The couple has again transitioned back to having conversations on the phone.
Florin also talked to The Sun stating that his equation is far better today if he compared it with his past.
Florin also explained why they had a fall-out. He said that we two belong to different cultures. He added we both don’t think the same and don’t have the same manners either.
Philip still loves Florin to his core he said.
Florin added that deep down all he has his affection for him.
The couple also talked about their sex life and both mutually agreed that Philip is more tactile than the other.
Philip likes to stay in bed asleep in the night but there is no denying to the fact that that they have an intimate relationship.
Florin also expressed about his future ambitions with Philip that he wants to be his carer and it won’t matter to him what the others think.
Philip Clements used to be celibate and according to the rules of the Church of England, he is not allowed to be in a same-sex marriage.
He said he had been repressing his sexuality because of the laws of the church but now he feels free to be him as he is.
He added that it was the looks and flamboyancy of Marin which eventually made him attractive to him.
Currently, both have started to video chat and have become close to each other.
Mr. Philips said that if one day Marin finds somebody, he will understand.
