The first trailer of the remake of highly famous Dr.
Dolittle has recently been released. The movie is all the more interesting now as it stars Robert Downey Jr. a.k.a. Ironman as Dr. Dolittle.
The trailer features a glimpse into what seems to be a stunning live-action film, set to the strains of the latest version of the previous Louis Armstrong classic ‘What A Wonderful World’.
People have been waiting for the trailer since Robert’s Instagram account released the movie’s poster, which gave a look at the characters in the live-action film.
Robert captioned the post with the details of trailer, which was released soon after the post. His post ended with every possible animal emoji one can find.
The film was initially titled ‘The Voyage Of Doctor Dolittle’. However, it has now been changed to ‘Dolittle’. The movie seems to have reserved 12th January 2020 as its release date.
Well, the poster gave us some details of the cast as well as what their character will look like, which includes some well-established names like Emma Thompson, Michael Sheen, among others.
However, now it is confirmed that the movie will feature the voice talents of Tom Holland as Jip the dog, Selena Gomez as Betsy the giraffe, Rami Malek as Chee-Chee the gorilla, and John Cena as Yoshi the polar bear.
Dr. Dolittle’s adventures have been adapted several times, the most famous being his appearance in live-action film. The best-known versions are undoubtedly the late 90s Dr. Dolittle movies, which starred Eddie Murphy as the lead.
Although the two films were rated PG-13, they were a bit more risqué than the three sequels they inspired, which featured Dr. Dolittle’s daughter as the titular doctor.
