Robber returns money to woman after seeing her bank account was empty:

A Chinese robber returned money to a terrified woman after seeing her account balance.
A woman by surname Li was withdrawing money from an ATM at an ICBC Bank in Heyuan, China.
A robber with a knife in his hand approached her and the terrified woman quickly gave him the 2,500 yuan ($371) she had withdrawn from the ATM.
But, the robber was not satisfied with the money and asked her to show him account balance.
When he saw that the woman’s account balance was at zero, the sympathetic robber gave the money back to the woman.
Later, the Heyuan Police detained the robber surnamed Deng who told them that he “did not have a permanent job”.
The CCTV footage was shared online and Internet users hailed him a ‘Hero’. One user commented on the video: ‘when you’re a street thug but mama raised you with morals’
Another said: ‘He gave her the money back because he knows what it means to be poor’
The third one commented: ‘He’s kinder than the banks which impose penalty for not maintaining adequate funds.’
One user joked: ‘If he sees my bank account he will cry and give me his own money and knife, and jacket….’ while another added: ‘He gave it back because you never steal from the poor. A man gots to have a code.’
