According to Wood, his rights were violated as his account got suspended for ‘glorifying violence’ as he spoke in the defense of the teenage shooter to help raise funds for his defense.

As the attorney insisted, he was blocked from using his account for several hours before Twitter finally reinstated his profile.

“I was arrested today & confined in Twitter jail falsely accused of glorifying violence. I was exonerated this evening by a finding of ‘incorrectly actioned.’ I am free tonight,” Wood wrote in his post after the incident.

According to Wood, he had been careful not to violate any of the platform’s terms of service knowing that he would likely become a target of censorship.

“I knew they were going to censor me because I’m sending a message of hope. I’m sending a message of truth. And I’m sending a message that Kyle Rittenhouse is innocent,” Wood said.

As the attorney added, he has allegedly been gathering evidence that supposedly proves Twitter is suppressing free speech.

Meanwhile, Twitter admitted their mistake and confirmed that the attorney’s account has been reinstated. “This account was incorrectly actioned. This has been reversed and the account has been reinstated,” a representative said.
