Rioters armed with rocks smashed the windows of residential homes located in a quiet suburb.
On yet another night of civil unrest, Wisconsin rioters resorted to breaking the windows of residential homes, looting stores, and vandalizing properties including business establishments and a pharmacy.
The destruction began in the Wauwatosa area where violent demonstrators smashed the windows of various stores and businesses according to the police.
The rioters then proceeded to walk around Wauwatosa and Milwaukee and eventually reached a residential street where they hurled rocks at a series of homes in order to smash their windows.
According to the reports, some people were also seen shining bright flashlights into the windows of residential homes.
Following the destruction in the quiet suburb, the mob proceeded to loot a convenience store located at a local gas station.
In the footage taken by Townhall Media’s Julio Rosas, one of the residents lashed out at the mob saying: “Do you have any idea how many Democrats, how many MPS teachers, union members, other people that support you live on this street? Show some respect!”
According to Rosas, some of the protesters were also seen attempting to stop the violent individuals from vandalizing homes during the Wednesday riot.
Just before 9 pm, two hours after the Wauwatosa curfew, the police declared the protests in the area an unlawful assembly.
With the help of the National Guard, the police had set up a protective perimeter around the City Hall before being confronted by a mob of rioters who reportedly threw rocks at them and the surrounding buildings.
As the police have confirmed, tear gas was deployed to disperse the crowd and bring the protests in the area to a stop.
“Individuals in the group are throwing large rocks at law enforcement and buildings in the area of Swan Bl / W North Av,” the authorities wrote in a statement.
“Residents in this area are advised to shelter in their homes, lock their doors, and move away from windows. The crowd was ordered to disperse due to being an unlawful assembly, and has refused. Law enforcement has deployed gas to safely disperse the group.”
