A restaurant owner in Florida is turning away customers who support President Biden and his administration.
Angie Ugarte put up a sign in the window of her restaurant telling people to ‘take your business elsewhere’ if they ‘stand behind the worthless, inept and corrupt administration.’
Her post comes after 13 troops and almost 200 civilians died in Afghanistan on Thursday.
The post reads: “If you voted for and continued to support and stand behind the worthless, inept and corrupt administration currently inhabiting the White House that is complicit in the death of our servicemen and women in Afghanistan, please take your business elsewhere.”
“God bless America and God bless our soldiers,” she added.
Ugarte, the owner of the DeBary Diner in DeBary, Volusia County, intends to keep the sign up as long as there are still Americans still trapped in Afghanistan.
Ugarte said that many of her regular customers are military vets and she has a wall that features military decorations.
People who saw the post have mixed reactions, with some ‘turn around and walk away’ while others liked it.
“If you really, really still stand behind what’s allowed this to happen in the way that it has happened — which was unnecessary — then I really, really don’t want to be associated with you in any way and I certainly don’t want your business,” she said.
This comes after restaurants have left memorials of full glasses of beer to pay tribute for the troops who tragically died in Afghanistan.
Among them were Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss, Navy Corpsman Max Soviak, and Marines Tayloor Hoover, Rylee McCollum, Daegan Page, Karreem Nikoui, and Jared Schmitz.
