In the midst of the pandemic that is affecting millions around the world, it is not just the fear of COVID-19 entangling humans, it is the fear of humans themselves.
Even after millions of humans are already suffering from sickness, there are people who still find it difficult to stay indoors to keep their lives safe and some still find it hard to believe that the pandemic is not a lie.
These people are a threat to all those who are struggling to fight off the pandemic.
Every year, the city of Sakura host a festival called the Sakura Tulip Festal. The festival is dedicated to the blooming of tulips in the city.
The celebration takes place at the Sakura Furusato Square where about 400 years ago, an authentic Dutch mill was built. The tulips bloom around it.
There are not just a few but a lot of tulips. This year alone 800,000 tulips had bloomed. But amid coronavirus pandemic, the authorities had strictly canceled the festival and the gatherings. But people do not understand that it is for their own good and safety.
People decided to violate the rules set by authorities and still go for a close look at the tulips as they bloom.
The authorities were not happy with the situation and so they did not have any other choice. They decided to take on the plan B and they mowed down the field before the flowers could bloom.
The authorities were worried about how to keep people away so they decided to destroy 800,000 tulips to avoid people willing to have a closer look at the flowers.
What looked like a sea of colorful tulips was left to be a barren land yet to be cultivated. It is heartbreaking how authorities had to take down 800,000 flowers just to keep humans alive who are foolish enough to risk their own lives.
