To this Sehr replied that an animal has to be respected despite the possibility of it being hated by a large number of people.

The firefighters received a phone call on Sunday in the afternoon. They were informed that an animal has got stuck and the code given to the firefighters was “small animal, animal rescue.”

Sehr was already present at the spot but didn’t have the means of rescuing the fat rodent all by himself. Some moments later the entire team arrived, and finally, the cover of the manhole was taken off, and the rodent was set free. The little rat went back into the sewer as it was directed by the firefighters.

A lot of people found the act to be applauding worthy. The people who saw the photograph were left amazed by the realization that such a small animal was saved by conducting a serious rescue mission who is often disregarded and is easily given a death without a single thought in mind.

Sehr wasn’t paid for such an unusual rescue mission, but he did end up receiving a picture drawn by a young girl who complained about the struggling rat. The picture given to him had a drawing of a rat which was surrounded by all hearts.
