The movie that stole our hearts and boggled our minds, Sherlock Holmes is going to come back on the big screen with its third film 9 years later since the last one.
Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures made the announcement that the 3 part of the film will come out in the month of December of 2021, almost 9 years after the last movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows came out.
The studio has finally announced that the date of the release has been scheduled. The third part of the Sherlock Holmes series will be coming out on the screens on the 21st of December.
The star cast of the movie is the same as Robert Downey Jr.point 310 |
and Jude Law both are cast in the movie in their previous roles of Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr.point 85 | Watson respectively.point 104 | Chris Brancato has penned down the script of the third part of the thriller film.point 171 | The film also has Robert’s wife Susan Downey, Joel Silver and Lionel Wigram who are in the game for production of the film.point 278 | 1
Director of the movie is yet to get on board as the director of the previous two parts, Guy Ritchie still has not signed the contract. We are not aware if he is not taking this one or he is signing the contract.
Till now reports only confirm casting of Robert and Jude. Other characters are yet to be cast in the film.
The first edition of the Sherlock Holmes film came out back in 2009 and made a huge profit of $524 million around the world while the second edition of the movie came out back in 2011 and made a profit of $545.4 million globally.
