Rashida Tlaib said in an interview that President Donald Trump is scared of her and her three fellow colleagues, known as the ‘Squad.’

Referring to Squad members Reps. Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley, she said to The Guardian: “It’s been very clear to me, especially this last week, that he’s scared of us.

“He’s afraid of women of color,” she added. “Because we’re not afraid of him and we’re not afraid to speak up and say that we have a white supremacist in the White House who has a hate agenda.

She continued: “He’s afraid because we have a real agenda for the American people.”

The interview comes a week after the Israeli government banned Tlaib and Omar from visiting the country because of their avowed support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement.

The two lawmakers are the first Muslim women elected to the congress and but their time in the office has been filled with allegations of anti-Semitism.

After Israel’s announcement, the two freshman lawmakers would be denied entry. Both Omar and Tlaib subsequently attacked the Jewish state for its ‘inhumane’ treatment and accused the country of being ‘racist’ and ‘oppressive.’

Several days later, they held a press conference where Omar suggested Israel was neither a US ally nor a democracy. Tlaib got emotional over her decision not to visit Israel after the country permitted her entry to visit her family on a humanitarian request.

Trump responded to the press conference: “Sorry, I don’t buy Rep. Tlaib’s tears. I have watched her violence, craziness and, most importantly, WORDS for far too long.

“Now tears? She hates Israel and all Jewish people. She is an anti-Semite. She and her 3 friends are the new face of the Democratic Party. Live with it!”

However, the Squad accuses those who disagree with them of being resentful toward women of color. After Israel barred Tlaib and Omar, Ocasio-Cortez accused the Israeli government of sexism and racism.
