Rachael Ray surprised her culinary production assistant, Max, with a 30-minute makeover in honor of the return of “30 Minute Meals.”
28-year-old Max, who has long hair, has been growing his hair since he was in the seventh grade.
Rachael, who calls Max her “daytime husband”, brought in Kyan Douglas, to transform Max’s look.
“I have to pay you back. You’ve been washing my dishes and taking care of me and cleaning up after me, so we’re going to clean you up a little” Rachael said.
“I believe what Rachael has in line for me is cutting my hair, shaving my beard, trimming [it], and I can’t imagine what else she has planned for me It just seems right and it feels right to make this happen,” Max said.
Stylist Kyan Douglas said of Max before giving him a makeover: “One of the things that he really is troubled with right now is that his hair is thinning on top.”
“And so he keeps noticing in photographs that he has this long hair, but it’s thinning. So that’s really a big motivator for him.”
Douglas then gave him an amazing makeover. Rachael said after the makeover: “Wow, talk about you won’t be single for long! You look amazing!”
“Thank you, thank you! I think so, too.” Max replied.
This is amazing. He really looks so good after the makeover.
