Queen Makes ‘Peace Offering’ By Inviting Harry & Meghan To Her Platinum Jubilee Celebrations


Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain has extended an olive branch to both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by reportedly invited them to her platinum jubilee celebrations.

According to local media outlets, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will now be joining other members of the Royal family in the city of London, during the summer of next year. Daily Mail confirmed how both Harry and Meghan plan on attending ‘Trooping the Color’ which is the official name given to the Queen’s birthday parade. This is termed to be an integral part of the Royal Family’s celebrations.

However, with that being said, a lot of uncertainty and questions surround the fact regarding whether or not the couple will be allowed to make an appearance on the Palace Balcony, next to the Queen and other senior members of the Royal family for the event of the ‘Royal Air Force’ flypast.

An inside source for the Royal family did speak about the rumors regarding Harry and Meghan’s invite, claiming how the Queen’s decision to invite both Harry and Meghan was out of good gesture and peacemaking. “She is very much looking forward to their attendance at the event,” the source mentioned.

As far as the actual Palace Balcony appearance controversy is concerned, the Royal source went on to add how it was just too soon to discuss the matter as events like these tend to be decided at a time that is much nearer to the actual event.
