This comes ten days after the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away at the age of 99.

Even though this is the first time the Queen has been pictured working since the funeral of her husband, this is not the first time she has returned to work since he died.

Only four days after Prince Philip’s death, the Queen went back to her royal duties. Earlier this month, she bid farewell to Earl Peel – a key royal aid who retired after 14 years of service.

In her most recent appearance, the Queen was no longer wearing a black mourning outfit. She was dressed in a light blue flower dress that featured yellow, white, and purple flowers, adorned by a three-string pearl necklace.

“We have been deeply touched and continue to be reminded that Philip had such an extraordinary impact on countless people throughout his life,” the Queen said.
