A street dog in Quezon City, the Philippines, tried to retrieve its friend after she was met with an accident on the road.
The victim was hit hard by a car on the streets, and the other dog tried to save his friend.
The heart-breaking moment was proof of the fact that the dog tried its best to love his dying friend but could not do so.
It was a white and black Aspin breed that tried to save a brown mongrel on the streets of Quezon City. It was also seen that the Aspin breed even tried to prod his friend’s head and tried to lift the leg to his mouth but could not succeed in saving his friend.
As per reports, it could be seen that the dog tried to wake up his friend for some time as it gave up reluctantly and laid on the pavement since it was hit hard in the accident. A passer-by Jay Villanueva came across the scene which he had recorded on his way back home. He further stated that the scene completely broke his heart.
He was further of the opinion that drivers should be more careful when they are driving, and they should not harm the streets dogs so miserably. Since the dogs do not understand the traffic rules, where to stand and where not, the drivers should be more cautious while driving on the roads.
People might overlook the matter by saying that they are just dogs. But if you notice the video carefully, you will be able to feel the bonding of the two dogs. The male tried its level best to retrieve the friend and make it wake up. Life has equal importance to them as well as to human beings.
The passer-by, Mr. Villanueva further stated that he went to move the body of the dead dog in the nearby bushes. He also felt sorry for the male dog who was too depressed to see his friend going through such a miserable condition but could not save her.
