Puppy Who Lost An Ear To Injury At Birth Developed An Adorable “Unicorn” Look


Golden Retrievers are some of the most adorable puppies among all dog breeds and the one we’ve got here today is even cuter.

This puppy has a distinctive feature, one that has made it go viral on social media.

Rae is a pure-bred Golden Retriever who’s very friendly, playful and puffy. However, due to an unfortunate event at the birth of this little buddy, Rae lost her left ear.

Surprisingly, upon her growth, the puppy’s right ear has kind of moved towards the top of her head.

Rae’s short video was shared by someone going by the name Sam on TikTok, where it immediately went viral. You can just not have enough of Rae’s cuteness.

Rae’s owner, foreseeing her upcoming popularity, set up a number of accounts across various social media services to update her daily life for her fans.

Golden Retriever is a pooch with a medium size.

These dogs can easily be identified easily from their dense and shiny golden hair, the very characteristic that gives the breed its name.

Other unique features of this dog include intelligent eyes and their specific gait, the smooth and energetic gait, referred to by the breed lovers as a “merry action.”

According to the American Kennel Club, Golden Retrievers are known to be healthy dogs overall.

They may have conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, troubles with the eyes like juvenile cataracts, progressive retinal atrophy, and pigmentary uveitis.

They may also have heart conditions like subvalvular aortic stenosis but the breeders screen the pups for these conditions.

Rae looks to be alright in her one-ear get up but this can lead to health complications for the pooch.

Golden Retrievers are known to be prone to a number of ear infections. Rae’s owners need to keep her in check so that if something bad happens, they have enough time to react responsibly.
