In a heartbreaking incident, a grandfather was forced to see his grandson through a glass window for the first time in a bit to save him against coronavirus.
Emma, the aunt of the baby, shared the picture on Twitter.
The woman from Ireland explained that baby Faolán is the son of the man holding the baby in the picture, who is her brother Míchéal while Míchéal’s father can be seen adorning the baby through the glass.
The father of the baby is holding Faolán near the window to let his proud father meet his son. The proud grandfather’s smile on seeing the grandson is so heartwarming.
Alongside the image taken by Emma, Faolán’s mother with the same name, Aunt Emma wrote describing the picture that three generations of the social distancing as her dad met his grandchild for the first time.
The emotional post received over 442,000 liked and gained enormous amounts of comments. Later, Emma informed that the grandad and the grandson are doing well and both are oblivious to their newfound celebrity status.
Emma continued that her father would not let her take further pictures of him but he is smiling.
She added that her brother lives near to 2 minutes away from his father’s home and so he went there to meet his dad.
Meanwhile, the grandfather is eagerly waiting to hold and cuddle with the baby soon.
The post received thousands of comments where the viewers confessed to feeling emotional and tearing up upon seeing the picture.
They called the moment beautiful and expressed concern for the newborn and his granddad. They even applauded the family to take the necessary steps for avoiding the spread of coronavirus and inspiring others to do the same.
