Protesters Block The Entrance Of Emergency Room Where Two Officers Are Fighting For Their Lives


Demonstrators have blocked the entrance and exit of a hospital emergency room where two officers are fighting for their lives after they were ambushed.

The two Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies, one a 31-year-old mother of a 6-year-old boy, were shot by a male suspect at the Metro Blue Line station in Compton.

Video of the incident outside St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood shows protester blocking the entrance of the emergency room while chanting: “We hope they f****** die.”

One protester yelled: “I want to deliver a message to the family of the pigs. I hope they f****** die.”

Another told police: “Y’all gonna die one by one. This ain’t gonna stop.”

The demonstrators had been connected to the BLM movement but that hasn’t been confirmed.

Authorities were hunting the gunman, offering a $100,000 reward. “The suspect is described as a male Black 28-30 years-old, wearing dark clothing,” police said.

The shooter was last seen in a black, four-door sedan.

One local faith leader said to KABC: “They were saying ‘Death to the police’ and ‘Kill the police,’ and these are sheriffs, but the message is still the same.

“They were using all types of curse words and derogatory terms. Unacceptable behavior, because a hospital should be a sanctuary.”
