This is a group of genius men who appeared on coins as a gesture by the government to pay respect to them like Charles Darwin and Sir Isaac Newton.

The designer of the coin, Edwin Ellis said: “I wanted to fit a big black hole on the tiny coin and wish he was still here chortling at the thought.”

The designer further explained that her motive to indulge the black hole in the design was because she wanted to pay respect to the man and the way he “made difficult subjects accessible, engaging and relatable,” in the terms of a black hole.
