Principal Accused Greta Thunberg Of Being A ‘Little Girl With Mental Problems’ After Her Dramatic Speech

It has been weeks since 16-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg skipped school and traveled from Sweden to United Nations HQ in New York, US, to deliver a powerful, emotional speech in which she accused world leaders of destroying her childhood.

In her confrontation at the United Nations Climate Summit, Greta, who is running for a Nobel Peace Prize, appeared to be having a “meltdown” as she said:

“People are dying and dying ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is the money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!?”

The activist’s direct approach gained her millions of followers from around the world. On the other hand, however, there are also plenty of people who suggested that the girl is mentally unstable and too young to understand how the world works.

One of the members of the opposition is Rodney Lynn, the principal of the private Christian school called Coffs Harbour Christian Community School.

In his response, Mr. Lynn addressed Greta as a “little girl with mental problems” and admitted urging kids at his school not to fall for her doomsday talks.

In his letter to the parents and the students, Lynn wrote:

“[She is a] little girl with self-declared various emotional and mental problems that she thinks give her a special insight into a pending doom.

“My life experience has taught me that the doomsday predictors are just attention getters.

“Do not be afraid. Your world’s future is in the hands of God, not in the predictions of a little girl and false prophets.”

The letter went viral with one angry parent slamming it as “absolutely disgusting.”
