Though the feuding princes reportedly agreed to put their differences aside and focus on mourning their grandfather for the moment, insiders suggested Prince Harry has been shunned by senior royals following Meghan’s explosive CBS interview with Oprah.

As sources told The Mail on Sunday, Harry has been facing “a great deal of frostiness” from senior royals following his return to the UK to attend his grandfather’s funeral, whereas some failed to acknowledge his presence.

“Ironically the only one who has expressed any sympathy towards him is Prince Andrew,” The Mail on Sunday quoted one source saying.

“He knows from Sarah Ferguson – and now first-hand – how it feels to be the outsider, which Harry very much is.

“As far as the others are concerned, there is a deep sense of protection towards the Queen and resentment towards Harry. There is little sympathy for him after what he and Meghan said on Oprah.”

According to the insider, the Royal Family has put all tensions on hold even though “they are still very upset” about the allegations made by Meghan and Harry in the US.

“They are putting on a united front for the Queen. They all think he has behaved appallingly,” the source added.

According to another account noted by the publication, Prince William requested for his cousin Peter Phillips to be placed between him and Harry during Duke of Edinburgh’s ceremonial procession despite some reports suggesting this was done based on attendees’ age and bloodlines.
