Since the outbreak of the global pandemic, the 99 year old royal has been isolating at Windsor Castle with the Queen who turned 94 this year. Previous reports have explained how the Queen enjoyed spending more time with her husband as they quarantine together.

Joe Little, the said editor, corroborated with Hello! Magazine that the Queen is indeed enjoying increased time with her husband. In normal circumstances, the couple spend time in separate castles. Little went so far as to say that this increased time is a silver lining of the pandemic.

The chief editor of Majesty continued by characterizing Prince Philip as an essential factor in the mental well-being of the Queen. According to Little, the Queen finds her husband’s rather ridiculous and silly sense of humor to be very entertaining, which helps her health and performance as Queen.

Another royal expert, Phil Dampier, agreed with Little by saying that Prince Philip always knew how to make her majesty smile. Dampier researched and wrote a book that focused on the life and personality of Prince Philip.

Little further explained that the role and importance of Prince Philip only increased as the royals seclude themselves in the palaces. He argued that her majesty, who is a very social person who energized herself via human interaction, find comfort by spending time with her husband.

Little said that the couple always showed great chemistry and camaraderie together. Although he agreed that Prince Philip was not a “convention husband”, Little said that the royal has always been supportive of the Queen no matter what her decision.

Another royal expert, author of “Monarch and Majesty” Robert Lacey, the couple have found great joy in keeping in touch with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lacey believes that Philip, who is known for his technology and science chops, greatly enjoys setting these virtual meetings up.

Lacey expected that the 100th birthday celebration for Philip will be done in a private and quiet manner, as he was never interested in being in the spotlight. Share your thoughts with us in the comments, and be sure to follow us on Facebook for more stories like this one.
