Prince Harry ‘Feels Snubbed’ After The Queen Left Him Out Of Her Speech While She Praised Prince William, A Royal Expert Claims

In Her Majesty’s video message to world leaders, she said that she couldn’t be “more proud” of her son Prince Charles and grandson Prince William leading the campaign.

“It is a source of great pride to me that the leading role my husband played in encouraging people to protect our fragile planet, lives on through the work of our eldest son Charles and his eldest son William,” she said.

“I could not be more proud of them,” the Queen added.

Even though Prince Harry always speaks out on environmental problems, he was not featured in the Queen’s speech.

Royal expert Angela Levin, who wrote a book about the Duke of Sussex, said she could not see the need for him to be mentioned in the speech as he already stepped down from his royal duties.

Speaking to OK!, Levin said: “I imagine he could well feel snubbed.

“He’s missed out on this climate change discussion, which he’s trying to work for as well.

“But you can’t have it both ways. You can’t be independent but part of it – I don’t believe he’s grasped that.

“I couldn’t see why Harry would be mentioned. He isn’t a member of the Royal Family now. He’s doing his own thing.”

Harry and Meghan Markle also announced their own climate change pledge, saying their Archewell Foundation will have zero net by 2030.

Inspired by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s “long-standing commitment to the planet, both together and prior to their union,” the organization has committed to reducing its carbon emissions over the next years.

“Achieving net zero carbon emissions means making a series of choices over time to make that footprint as small as possible, while compensating for any remaining emissions through high-quality carbon removal projects,” the foundation said on its website.

“As an organisation, we will work with an independent consultant to track all Archewell-related activities from our inception (internet use, commutes, and electricity in home offices, for example) to understand our collective footprint,” it added.
