According to The Sun, an insider spoke to the publication and revealed that the 36-year-old prince was extremely upset after the Royals decided to strip him of his military roles following his decision to quit his life as a royal.

While Prince Harry, who served in Afghanistan on two occasions, allegedly hoped to keep his military roles and titles, he was in for a major surprise when he was stripped of them all as part of the final Megxit deal.

As the insider told The Sun, “angry” Harry agreed with Meghan to go through with their tell-all interview within a day after losing his military titles.

“There was a bust-up just before Oprah but it wasn’t to do with Archie’s title. That had been known and discussed for quite a while,” the source claimed.

“Harry and Meghan were very cross before Oprah because the final Megxit separation had just been signed off which included Harry not keeping military roles.

“That was what made him so angry. He’s very emotional and his military roles were very important to him given that he served.”

The three key roles the Queen stripped Harry of earlier this year include the Honorary Air Commandant of RAF Honington, Captain General Royal Marines, and Commodore-in-Chief Small Ships and Diving, Royal Naval Command.

According to the reports, Harry requested a “half-in half-out” role but the Queen rejected his proposal. To spare him embarrassment, however, she ordered everyone to wear suits rather than military uniforms at Prince Philip’s funeral months later.
