During his interviews, the 36-year-old came up with more bombshell allegations and insisted that history was repeating itself and that Meghan was “going to end her life” because of the alleged neglect on his family’s side.

“I thought my family would help, but every single ask, request, warning, whatever, it is just got met with total silence, total neglect,” Harry said of mental health struggles that he and his wife were going through before they left the UK.

“We spent four years trying to make it work. We did everything that we possibly could to stay there and carry on doing the role and doing the job. But Meghan was struggling.”

As Archie’s father insisted, he felt as if “history was repeating itself” and that left him worried that he would lose Meghan like he lost his mother all those years ago.

“History was repeating itself. My mother was chased to her death while she was in a relationship with someone who wasn’t white. And now look what’s happened,” Harry told Oprah.

“It’s incredibly triggering to potentially lose another woman in my life. Like, the list is growing. And it all comes back to the same people, the same business model, the same industry.”

Not withholding anything, the 36-year-old went on to recall how he relied on drugs and alcohol to deal with his pain following the loss of his mom, Princess Diana.

He also insisted he felt trapped in the UK by his Royal family who allegedly did their best to try and stop him and Meghan from walking out on their Royal lives and duties.

“Eventually when I made that decision for my family, I was still told, ‘You can’t do this.’ And it’s like, ‘Well how bad does it have to get until I am allowed to do this?’ She [Meghan] was going to end her life. It shouldn’t have to get to that,” Harry added.

Speaking of his decision to focus on his own family, including Meghan and Archie, Harry concluded his only regret was not standing up to his family even earlier in his relationship with his wife.
