The Duke of Sussex has been spotted playing with his rescue dog in California.
Prince Harry hit the beach in Santa Barbara with his rescue dog Pula – dressed casually in a white T-shirt and dark-colored shorts, a backward baseball cap, and sunglasses as he dipped his feet in the sea.
A source told PEOPLE: “He looked totally at ease. He has a great relationship with his dog, walking it off-leash. He looked just like a Montecito local just doing his thing — very relaxed walking barefoot.”
Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, welcomed the Labrador into their home after their Royal wedding in May 2018.
The pooch’s name actually has a special meaning. Pula is the official currency of Botswana where Harry took Meghan when they started dating. In Setswana, Pula means ‘rain’ – and because rain is very scarce in Botswana, it is considered a blessing.
Harry and Pula were pictured playing near their $14m mansion as the Prince settles into the LA lifestyle after landing two new jobs.
As ‘chief impact officer’ of BetterUp, Harry will help promote an app used by corporate giants including Chevron, Facebook, and Hilton to improve the well-being of their employees.
A statement on the company’s website said: “As co-founder of Archewell, he is focused on driving systematic change across all communities through non-profit work as well as creative activations.
“The mission across Archewell – which currently includes Archewell Foundation, Archwell Productions, and Archewell Audio – is united behind the deeply held belief that compassion is the defining cultural face of the 21st century.”
The Duke of Sussex has also taken a role in The Aspen Insitute where he will serve as a ‘commissioner’ on the organization’s ‘Commission on Information Disorder.’
Experts revealed that Harry could be working in the U.S. on a visa designed for people with ‘extraordinary ability.’
