Prince Harry revealed his son’s first word only to receive a backlash on social media after people refused to believe him.

As the Duke of Sussex insisted while talking to James Corden, his 21-month-old son Archie uttered the word ‘crocodile’ before managing to say mama or dada.

“Crocodile, three syllables,” the 36-year-old replied after being asked about his son’s first word.

Prince Harry also went on to claim that his son is “already singing songs” and is able to combine “three, four words.”

“My son is now just over a year and a half. He is hysterical, he’s got the most amazing personality. He’s already putting three, four words together, he’s already singing songs,” he added.

While the proud father suggested ‘crocodile’ was Archie’s first word, his revelation appears to contradict the statement of the source who last year told Us Weekly that the toddler’s first words were mama and dada.

“He’s saying a few words, like dada, mama, book, and dog,” the Us Weekly source said in an interview last June.

After Prince Harry’s revelation, social media users were left wondering whether the father was telling the truth while some called for evidence to back his claims.

During his interview, Prince Harry also claimed that his grandmother, the Queen, sent his family a waffle maker for Christmas because of Archie’s love for waffles.

“She sent us a waffle maker for Archie, so breakfast now Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix in the waffle maker. Flip it, out it comes. He loves it. Archie wakes up in the morning and just goes, ‘Waffle?’” the Duke of Sussex said.
