Prince Charles Shares Throwback Photos As Queen Turns 94, Wishes Her Happy Birthday


Kate and Prince William wished the Queen on her 94th birthday.

The Duchess and Duke of Cambridge used Twitter to offer loving wishes while Prince Charles uploaded a selection of childhood photographs to mark the grand occasion.

Kensington Palace wished the Queen by sharing a picture from Chelsea Flower Show and added a happy birthday wish. Clarence House also shared 4 pictures featuring Prince Charles and the Queen, Duchess of Cornwall, and Princess Anne.

One black & white picture shows the Queen presenting the Prince with a runner-ups award at Silver Jubilee cup match at Windsor Great Park, which was against France on 24th July 1988.

Another image shows Duchess of Cornwall and the Queen at Royal Ascot in 2019.

The touching tribute read that they were wishing the Queen a happy 94th birthday. The official Twitter account of the Royal Family also wished Head of Armed Forces, Head of Commonwealth, and Head of State in sixteen countries who is also the longest-reigning British monarch.

It added great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, and wife a happy birthday.

Army veteran Tom Moore who will be celebrating his 100th birthday soon also wished the Queen. The WWII veteran who managed to collect more than £27million funds for the NHS just by walking 100 rounds in his garden sent wishes to the queen.

The Royal Family share a private video to thank all the well-wishers, which was from the Queen’s childhood.

The footage shows Princess Elizabeth who is now the Queen with her family as well as features the clips of the lady dancing and playing with her younger sibling Princess Margaret.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Queen is celebrating her birthday in isolation with the 98-year-old Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor Caster, where she will be enjoying a virtual birthday party.

All the public celebration of the big day had to be canceled due to the lockdown and the Queen halted traditional gun salutes. However, the Royal family will be celebrating a special occasion through video calls.
