Prince Charles No Longer In Self-Isolation One Week After Testing Positive For COVID-19


Following just a week after he was diagnosed with COVID-19, Prince Charles has been released from quarantine as per the official advice.

According to the royal aides, the 71-year-old is in “good health” and has overcome a “mild” form of the disease which he presumably contracted during his work trips.

Following official advice, the heir-to-the-throne stayed in self-isolation for a week after he first began experiencing symptoms of the infection.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cornwall, his wife, will remain in quarantine until the end of this week.

According to the reports, Prince Charles was obeying official advice that suggested he should self-isolate for a week from the day he first experienced COVID-19 symptoms.

As for his wife, she has to remain in quarantine for a total of 14 days even though she tested negative because it could take time for the symptoms to appear.

“Clarence House has confirmed today that, having consulted with his doctor, the Prince of Wales is now out of self-isolation,” the palace spokesperson confirmed.

The 71-year-old prince will now be able to resume his busy schedule and go on with upcoming meetings as planned.

In a recent turn of events, fresh fears over the monarch’s health have emerged after one of her footmen tested positive for COVID-19.

“Everyone is terrified, not just for themselves but also for the Queen and the duke,” a source said according to a MailOnline report.

Despite the positive testing, the palace has assured that the 93-year-old is in good health condition and that sufficient measures were taken.
