Priest Risked His Own Life To Save Jesus Christ’s Crown Of Thorns During Notre Dame Blaze


The priest, who comforted 2015 Paris terror attack victims, risked his own life to save Jesus Christ’s Crown of Thorns during Notre Dame blaze.

A large fire broke out at the famous Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, France, and Jean-Marc Fournier, Chaplain of the Paris Firefighters, ran into the Notre Dame blaze to save Jesus Christ’s Crown of Thorns.

He was among those who entered Paris’ 850-year-old building during the blaze.

An emergency services source said: “Father Fournier is an absolute hero.”

“He showed no fear at all as he made straight for the relics inside the Cathedral, and made sure they were saved. He deals with life and death every day, and shows no fear.”

He also saved the Blessed Sacrament.

Paris’ Mayor Anne Hidalgo said: “The Crown of Thorns, the tunic of Saint Louis and several other major works are now in a safe place.”

President Macron said in a speech outside Notre Dame that he was planning to rebuild the cathedral with the help from the international community.

“We will appeal to the greatest talents and we will rebuild Notre Dame because that’s what the French are waiting for because that’s what our history deserves because it’s our deepest destiny.”

While Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo thanked firefighters and policemen. Hidalgo said:

“Thank you to the [Paris fire brigade], policemen and the municipal agents who have made this evening a tremendous human chain to save the works of Notre Dame. The Crown of Thorns, the tunic of Saint Louis and several other major works are now in a safe place.”
