President Trump Is Secretly ‘Starstruck’ By Ocasio-Cortez And Has Nicknamed Her ‘Eva Peron’

President Donald Trump praised Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and said even though the New York congressional freshman seems to be “ranting and raving lunatic on a street corner,” she has a “certain talent.

29-year-old Ocasio-Cortez has enjoyed prominence into political consciousness, starting with her amazing victory over the former US Representative stalwart of New York’s 14th Congressional district, Joe Crowley.

A self-professed ‘Democratic socialist,’ AOC has become a fiercely outspoken figure in Washington. She regularly irked Fox News and Republicans while backing progressive causes like the Green New Deal.

Her controversies somehow earned her an admirer who is also no stranger to a fiercely diving opinion: Donald Trump.

The president admitted that the first time he saw Ocasio-Cortez, he noticed in her a similar figure.

“I see a young woman,” he told Alberta, “ranting and raving like a lunatic on a street corner, and I said: ‘That’s interesting, go back.’”

Trump said he ‘became enamored’ by AOC’s charisma, even becoming ‘startstruck.’

“I called her Eva Peron,” he expressed. “I said, ‘That’s Eva Peron. That’s Evita.’”

The president has never mentioned the comparison until he had a conversation with Alberta. But he has previously said that his favorite Broadway show is Evita, which he saw “six times, mostly with (his first wife) Ivana,” the Guardian reported.

Peron, also known as Evita, was an actress who was married to Argentinian president Juan Peron and rose to popularity in her 20s. During the 1940s and early 1950s, she championed working-class voters and female and Unionist’s rights.

Evita became a figure of devotion and compassion before she passed away in 1952 after fighting against cancer aged 33.

“She’s got talent. Now, that’s the good news,” Trump said of Ocasio-Cortez.

“The bad news: she doesn’t know anything. She’s got a good sense, an “it” factor, which is pretty good, but she knows nothing. But with time, she has real potential.”
