While morning sickness is one of the major problem pregnant women have to go through it looks like this mother to be has found out a way to cheat morning sickness as she smokes cannabis every day despite doctors warning her it can be a major risk to the child.
Doctors say that the child can be born prematurely and it also increases the chances of cot death.
30 years old Sammy Warnes, has hyperemesis gravidarum, extreme morning sickness along with chronic vomiting and nausea.
This is the same problem Kate Middleton had while she was pregnant with all three of her kids.
About the same Dr. Carol Cooper warns Sammy that she should stop because this can have some serious consequences.
The doctor explained how the risk of the baby being born still is inflamed by marijuana along with the risk of the baby being born underweight or with serious health problems and premature birth.
Dr. Cooper says “it is proven that cannabis helps with nausea and has been used with cancer patients. It attacks the part of the stomach and brain responsible for nausea.
This is why it is not a matter of wonder that several pregnant women find their way to cannabis too.”
Although there not have been much use of cannabis in pregnancy but the doctors have found out that it can cause premature birth.
They also say that smoking marijuana can cause adverse effects on the health of the baby and can restrict the growth of the baby in the womb.
The research that has been done on rats shows that smoking marijuana can have serious effects on the brain of their offspring. In humans, we just don’t have enough information about the harm it can cause to the baby.
