“Excuse me, incitement for what, what on Earth? I’m in my pajamas, my two kids are here. I have an ultrasound in an hour because I’m pregnant,” the shocked mother said as the police started reading her rights.

As the officers then proceeded to explain, Buhler was arrested for enticing people to protest lockdown rules in a since-deleted Facebook event page called ‘Freedom Day Ballarat’.

“PEACEFUL PROTEST! All social distancing measures are to be followed so we don’t get arrested please. Please wear a mask unless you have a medical reason not to,” Buhler’s event page read.

In the event description, the young mother explained the reasons behind her organized protest as she insisted that “the government has gone to extreme measures” to prevent people from protesting by “using scare tactics.”

“Here in Ballart we can be a voice for those in stage 4 lockdowns,” Buhler wrote. “We can be seen and heard and hopefully make a difference,” she concluded.
