A postal worker, who miraculously tossed a parcel straight through an open window upstairs of a home, has gone viral on the internet after the story was shared by a Brit.
When Laura Chaisty returned from work, she found a note from a worker of the Royal Mail, explaining how she tried to deliver the parcel but Laura was not around.
The talented postal worker didn’t leave the parcel with the neighbors or in some unsafe place, instead, she managed to successfully transport the package to the right place.
“Your top window was wide open, I threw it in there,” read the note on the parcel.
The package was present in a room upstairs, on the bed, waiting for Laura to come and collect it.
An excited Laura later shared the pictures of the parcel and the window through which it was ‘delivered’ on her Facebook, writing: “Royal Mail have made my day today!”
“The photo is exactly where it landed!” Laura wrote with the photo of parcel lying on her bed.
It can easily be seen from her now-viral pictures that sending the parcel in through that window would not have been an easy task at all.
While the true identity of the exceptionally talented postwoman is still shrouded in mystery, Laura has tracked her down successfully.
The 27-year-old, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire, told LADBible: “The post woman has contacted me and she got it in the window first try, which is pretty impressive!”
Laura’s Facebook post went viral as soon as it surfaced online, getting more than 8,000 likes and over 8,400 shares.
Facebook users have been calling the throw an ‘epic’ and a ‘good shot.’
Some, however, were concerned about the person, who delivered the parcel in this exceptional way, getting in trouble.
A person commented: “I really hope the postie who did it doesn’t get into trouble. Probably not, though. [She] did deliver it after all.”
Another person showed concern if the parcel had anything fragile.
Luckily for Laura and the ‘thrower,’ the parcel just contained gym supplements for Laura’s partner and there was nothing fragile in it.
