The work of mothers never ends, and any mom you ask would tell you that she’d do anything to protect and provide care for her family.
Recently, two hard-working moms named Ashleigh and Kate joined Kyle and Jackie O in their KIIS 106.5 Sydney studio for their Give Or Take Segment.
And in the show, these two moms were faced with an extremely tough scenario that made them impossible to hold back the tears.
Although Ashleigh and Kate have their own concerns about the family, they did have one thing in common: They were struggling financially.
Ashleigh, a mother of two, has been working hard to provide for the family ever since her husband was injured at work.
On top of that, her father recently passed away from a heart attack, so she had to quickly fly to New Zealand, which cost her thousands of dollars.

Kate, on the other hand, has three kids. Even though she’s working two jobs to provide for the family, she only has $8 in her bank account. Because she couldn’t pay her bills, her electricity was about to be turned off.
In short, they each needed a miracle.
After introducing two moms, Kyle and Jackie O surprises them by saying that the program was going to give $5000.
But, there was a big catch: only one out of the two would be getting the money, and that Kate would have to make this difficult decision.
After being given information about Ashleigh’s financial situation, Kate had to make a decision within 24 hours.
She could give away $5000 to this complete stranger, or to accept the money for herself.
The amount of $5000 would be helpful for either one of them. But, if Kate accepts the money, what about Ashleigh?
When Kate finally comes back and gives them her decision, it stuns everyone. Ashleigh, sitting right next to her, can’t believe it either.

It turns out that Kate decided to give the money to Ashleigh, rather than keeping it for herself.
Ashleigh breaks down in tears, hugs Kate, and thanks her repeatedly.
Just when people were amazed by Kate’s selfless and a bit unsatisfied at the program, which made her choose, another big surprise is revealed.
The hosts were so impressed by Kate that they decided to give her $5000 out of their own pockets!
“Kyle and I could not let you walk out of here without anything,” said Jackie O.
What an incredibly kind gesture made by Kate and the hosts of the program.
I’m not sure if I’d be able to make the same decision that Kate made if I was in her situation.
