A poor dog was found at the altar of the church, tied with his leash with a heartbreaking note written by his owner.
The cute Staffie was found tied in the Sacred Heart Church on the 18th of December located in Blackpool. He was not found alone because his master attached a letter with the pup explaining why he was left where he was left and it was heartbreaking.
The letter wrote “Believe me as I write this, I am not doing this with any pleasure, my heart is broken into a million pieces because I love my dog but I have no place for him to live anymore or have anything to feed him anymore.
Life has taken a terrible turn for me and I do not wish this poor baby to starve or get cold on the street. I want him to be safe and have a good life. He is going to turn 7 years in March 2020.
His paws are sore and I have been treating it for over a month but it is not alright yet.
I hope the church takes good care of him. He is my heart.”
The church has named him Cracker and he is already in a better place. The church first sent him to a vet to get his paws treated. Now he is living in a private kennel where he is being taken care of just right.
The caretakers have been keeping him with all love and says that he is a very well behaved dog with is great around humans. He is a very friendly dog and he loves playing around.
The circumstances he was left behind were heartbreaking and no dog deserves to be apart from their family when they are so much in love with each other.
