The officers of the Baltimore Police took some time out from their regular schedule and running after criminals because they were busy saving someone else.
On Monday the officers found them in the downtown area at the very popular Inner Harbor to save a dog.

The entire incident was recorded on a camera from the police helicopter. A police boat was also present at the same place to help with the rescue mission.
The twitter account of the department released a post saying that the incident happened when a team of officers was in the area for patrolling.
They then received a call saying that a dog broke free from its leash and then jumped straight in the water at Inner Harbor Unit.
It is not yet confirmed how the dog got away breaking the leash but it is being said that the dog panicked and ran.
In the video that has recorded the incident for 1 and a ½ minute shows the dog-paddling in the water as the rescue team came to save it. The officer on the boat got close to him and then threw a rope at the dog.
The dog also appeared to paddle and to get closer to the police officers. At one point, the officer standing on the dock had to jump into the water to take the dog out.
The owner of the dog was in a panic when they launched the help requisite to the police. The police wasted no time and ran to help the dog to get out of the water.
On the regular days, the police are always taking turns in patrolling in the region and it has proved to be great this time.
This must have a great night’s sleep now. The poor baby had a tough day as he almost died.
