“It’s very emotional. Father’s Day is coming up and all I can keep thinking about is my husband won’t be here. There’s not gonna be a day where I see him walk through the door or laughing with his kids again.”

Atlanta police officers arrived at the fast-food restaurant in question on June 12 after receiving complaints of a vehicle blocking the drive-thru lane. Cops found Brooks sleeping in his car but the conversation of over 40 minutes turned violent.
