As the police continue to charge for a 17 year old girl who went missing 2 months ago, they have also decided to charge her 50 year old father and 37 year old mother with murder.
This is after they reached the conclusion that this was a murder case with the body concealed.
Scott and Sarah Walker are now considered the most likely suspects in what the police believe is a murder of Bernadette Walker. Reports say that the police were seen searching the Walker household last week, although it is unknown if they found incriminating evidence then.
The parents claimed that they lost Bernadette on July 18th when she suddenly ran out of the car. According to the mother, she received a text message from her daughter 2 days later, when Bernadette texted that she will soon return home. She never did, which is when they contacted police.
Sarah, who is a mother to nine children including Bernadette, was seen posting missing posters around town. In an interview with the local media, she said that she was barely living due to all the pain from her daughter going missing. She added that everyone missed their eldest sister.
The Walker household is currently off limits except for the police, with the entry being blocked with the police tapes. Forensic officers, along with sniffer dogs, were seen entering the building. It is likely they were looking for any traces of Bernadette within the household.
The Walker’s neighbors all expressed shock that the police suspect the parents of killing their own daughter. Many remembered the couple as lovely people who always had a smile on their face. They said although the Walkers had many children, everyone seemed to get along just fine.
The local investigator said that they have not given up on the possibility that Bernadette still may be alive and well, but added that they can’t eliminate the possibility that she has been harmed. From social media to contact with friends, Bernadette has left no trace since her disappearance.
One of the largest mysteries of this case is why the police are charging the Walkers with murder. As of now, no evidence or hint that may incriminate the parents have not been disclosed to the public.
