A Vermont teen took to her social media page to make some serious accusations against the Police after she had a run in with the local Department.
She made such damaging accusations that could ruin the lives of the officers involved in the encounter with her and even do damage to the reputation of the local police department in the Vermont county.
As a reply, the department released the body cam footage from the run in with the girl that clearly contradicts her allegations.point 275 |
The outrage generated by the false accusations put against the Burlington Police department by the local girl from many social media users could not have been foreseen by her.point 147 | She posted her allegations of misconduct and rough handling against the Officers on her Facebook page the day after her encounter, but she most definitely had no idea the police had a dash cam recording of everything that went on that night.point 347 | 1
A miscalculation that earned her ridicule from millions of internet users that have seen the released video of how her encounter with her friends and the cops happened. Her false claims might even result in her serving real jail time. What really happened is all unbelievable after watching the video and her Facebook post.

Logan Huysman, an eighteen-year-old girl from Vermont, was found sleeping heavily with a group of friends in a car. Police officers came close to the car to check on the girls and see their condition, they were all deep asleep and difficult to arouse from their sleep, they all seemed disoriented and in disarray when they woke up.
This prompted the officers to suspect they were under the influence of drug or alcohol; the footage showed the officers spent ninety minutes with the girls during which Huysman was arrested for being abusive and uncooperative with the officers.
She was later on released when her parents came, but she posted the following on her Facebook page:

The charges this young lady brought against the Police Department on her social media page was so inflammatory it provoked the BPD Chief, Brandon Del Pozo to release some minutes of the recordings from the body cam to counter Miss Logan’s accusations.
The footage from the body cam painted a whole different picture from what she posted on her page; it showed Huysman as being obnoxious, rude and noncompliant with the officer’s requests and instructions.
Since the video has been made available to the public, a lot of people have used the same social media to condemn the act and show support for the local Police Department.

After seeing the footage and Huysman Facebook post, many people have formed and expressed their opinions and ways on how to deter people from such later on. The act as seen by many of the internet users must be discouraged among every citizen, especially those trying to present the good work of the law enforcement in a bad light.
