Police are Investigating Who Attacked 95 Years Old WWII Heroine in Her Care Home


Police are working on a case of a World War 2 navy heroine who is currently living in her home.

The woman was assaulted and due to her old age, she was not able to protect herself or see the accusers.

95-year-old Vera Harman has been assaulted as she was found with her skull fractured and with a broken bone in her neck.

She was immediately taken to the hospital but it was not for the broken skull or bone. Herman was taken to the hospital as she had suffered a 7 cm long and 1.5 cm deep cut in her leg.

This is when care home workers rushed her to the hospital and found out what had happened. As per her medical reports she was assaulted between February 13 and April 24.

Herman’s granddaughter Georgie Lamb, 50, first reported to the hospital that she just had a fall and that is why the cut is there.

Then the old woman started asking what is going to happen to the people who assaulted her. Herman was determined about how someone has assaulted her and that is how she got hurt.

Lamb said “I was too tired of repeatedly saying that someone has assaulted her and so I called the police. The police are doing what they are supposed to do now.”

The police had come to the hospital and started their investigation almost a month ago from now.

Lamb said “When I saw nana, she looked terrible. She was so fragile and hopeless. I felt devastated about her condition and so we decided to transfer her closer to my house.”

Herman will now be transferred to Towcester, Northamptonshire, where Lamb lives as it is much closer to her house and they both feel it is a better option to go with.
