“On my first flight in 15 months, of course we were rerouted back to the gate because two passengers got into a physical altercation over elbow placement upon arm rests,” one unhappy traveler who witnessed the altercation shared on Twitter after the incident.

Meanwhile, all other passengers were forced to return to the gate and wait for some time before they were allowed back on the plane.

After the incident, neither of the two men involved in the argument pressed charges. Reportedly, they also didn’t suffer any injuries.

While their hot heads eventually cooled down, the two unruly passengers weren’t allowed to go back on the plane and rejoin the flight.

The incident follows less than one week after another flight got disrupted by a male passenger who allegedly tried to open the door while high up in the sky.

The Delta Airlines flight in question later got diverted from Atlanta to Oklahoma City on June 11.

“Thanks to the crew and passengers of Delta Flight 1730 (LAX to ATL) who assisted in detaining an unruly passenger as the flight diverted to Oklahoma City (OKC),” the airline stated after the incident.
