22-year-old Jeff Louis works for Gionino’s pizza shop in Mentor, Ohio, USA.
One day, he had to make a lunch delivery to the Life Point Church so he was called in early.
When he reached there, members of the congregation invited him into the church.
They asked him to deliver one pizza directly to the pastor.
Pastor Ken Wright invited him on stage to thank him for the delivery and tipped him with over $700 (£463).
Jeff was left shocked.
After coming out of the church, Jeff recorded an emotional video in his car to thank the members of the church.
He said in the video: “This whole church came up and gave me over $700 for a tip. It’s just truly amazing you know.”
“I’ve been having such a hard time lately, just struggling to stay clean and everything, and I’m just trying to get my life back, and it just really, truly just amazes me that people that don’t even know me just wanted to help me out that much. Blessed.”
He was moved to tears by the kindness of the members of the church.
The church’s pastor, Ken Wright said that they had already decided that whoever would deliver the pizza would get $100.
He said: “Then I asked the congregation if anyone else wanted to tip, and people just started lining up, one right after the other, and he just started to break down. The total was over $700.”
The story went viral after it was posted online and people praised the members of the church for their generosity.
