Celebrity TV presenter and English journalist Piers Morgan have gone the full monty on Meghan Markle claiming that the Duchess of Sussex ghosted him.
He explained the term ‘ghosting’ as the phenomenon when a friend of yours suddenly cut loose all the communication with you without any warnings, and then you never hear from him/her again.
Piers said that he had never experienced something like this before in his life, so it was a bit weird for him.
He said it all started in 2015 when he decided to follow the four stars, including Meghan, of the hit legal drama series Suits on Twitter. The moment he started following Meghan, he received a direct message from her stating that she is a big fan of him, thank you for following her.
He responded to her message, and from there on, they exchanged pleasantries for the next few months on a regular basis.
Piers revealed they discussed on topics like US gun violence, spinning classes she took, her charity trip to Rwanda with United Nations, and their mutual hatred of 4 am shoot call times.
Meghan then started sending Piers the early preview episodes of Suits after which they discussed the storylines in detail.
She even introduced her Suits co-star Rick Hoffman to Piers. In 2016, she messaged Piers that she is in London for meetings and Wimbledon.
They really had a good time catching up in London as they enjoyed a good 90 minutes at Piers’ favorite pub, the Scarsdale Tavern in Kensington.
Piers remembers how passionately Meghan talked about her family and career including private and sensitive things, which Piers has sworn never to repeat them as it was said to him in confidence.
He said that all this time, he was laboring under the huge impression that they both were good buddies. But he says he was wrong.
When she was in London, she met Prince Harry at a dinner gala. The next night, she went on a dinner date with him, and since then he has never heard from her again.
He said he was ghosted.
Well, it was rude, and he is claiming that she used her to advance her career. What do you think?
