Instagram is a huge wide place where people live a completely different life and the game is about what? The number of likes.
Yup, the users on Instagram only runs after the number of likes they have received on their pictures and to receive the most you definitely have to be a hotshot millionaire with gorgeous looks and filthy expensive things.
Then you can probably put a picture of your dog or a picture from inside of your jet and you will receive millions and millions of likes.
And if the pictures come out as an ad then hey, you might also make money just like Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian West and you can literally enlist so many names.
But once in a while, there comes a picture that breaks the stereotype and even the record of the most liked picture and steals all the attention on Instagram.
The last it was an egg and you might not be able to imagine what is it this time. Well, it is a picture of a tiny tree.
A Canadian sustainable brand called Tentree posted the picture on Instagram on the Earth Day i.e. 22nd April, with a promise mentioned as the caption stating that the company will plant 500,000 trees if the picture manages to get 5 million likes.
We don’t if the company took the cause too lightly or they genuinely wanted the same result because within no time, yes just within 24 hours the picture received more than 5 million likes.
Looking at how much attention the picture has received, the company decided to raise the stakes. Yes, the company pledged to plant 1 million trees if the picture receives 20m likes.
Well, the picture is not stopping and it strands on number 4th on the list of the most liked picture on Instagram. We just hope the 20 million bar happens are there can be 1 million more trees in the world.
